After a two week break due to disputes between the contractor and sub-contractor, work on several projects in Torrox Costa and Torrox Pueblo are expected to resume today.
The work on the Ferrara Playa promenade in Torrox Costa has a deadline of March 31st under the FEIL (Plan Zapatero).
The contractor, CHM, has reached an agreement with a new sub-contractor to continue the works after a dispute with the original sub-contractor, EISUR, over unpaid wages for January and February.
Work in the centre of Torrox Pueblo is also set to resume, including in calle Hospital and calle San José. This project, valued at €1.8 million and financed, in the main, by the Junta de Andalucia, has a ‘summer’ deadline.
