The first major forest fire of the year, which started yesterday evening in Zaragoza, is under control.
The fire, a result of agricultural neglect, damaged between 1,000 and 1,500 hectares of land. Around 200 people worked on extinguishing the blaze with the support of water bombers.
High winds during the past few days had dried out the area which helped the fire to spread more easily.
