A 73 year old woman died in the early hours of Friday morning in a fire at her home in Plaza de San Martin in Tarifa, Cádiz province.
The fire, on the first floor of the building, was reported at 0:35. Four other people were evacuated from the building while firefighters extinguished the blaze.
The building did not have many occupants as it is mainly summer residences.
