Guardia Civil officers have arrested two more people in connection with Operation ‘Toscana’, an investigation into sexual exploitation in Cádiz and Málaga, bringing the total number of people implicated to eighteen.
The initial round of detentions included retired bullfighter Juan Pedro Galán, his sister and various other members of the family.
The latest arrests are a man, initials A.J.C., who works for the Health Service and a woman, initials I.M.P.P., who works for the Inland Revenue. They are charged with sexual exploitation, forgery, money laundering and disclosure of secrets.
The investigation is still open and further arrests are not ruled out.
