The Mayor of Ronda, Antonio Marín, is apparently contemplating the expropriation of the old, dilapidated Casa de Rey Moro after the owner was arrested for placing two banners on the front of the building protesting at the delay in building a five star hotel. The owner, in turn, has filed complaints against the Local Police and the Mayor for illegal detention and coercion.
