Two Guardia Civil officers, one in Chipiona and the other in Isla Cristina, have been detained during a drugs investigation which also led to the seizure of 4,000 kilos of hashish.
The drugs came from Morocco and the two police officers provided the traffickers with information relating to the best time to safely move the merchandise.
The investigation was carried out by the Guardia Civil in Cádiz, the Organised Crime Rapid Response Group (GRECO) in Galicia where the drugs traffickers were based and with the cooperation of the Guardia Civil in Ceuta.
