A Costalero of the Brotherhood of Santa Vera Cruz died yesterday in Sentenil de las Bodegas, Cádiz, after suffering a heart attack while carrying the throne of the Virgen.
The incident occurred at around 23:30 when the man, 43 year old Francisco Ruiz, began to feel unwell. He was then taken to the local Health Centre.
Unfortunately. despite several attempts at resuscitation, the medical staff were unable to do anything to save his life.
