A total of 37 companies have submitted tenders for the infrastructure works in the area known as El Romeral or the SUP-8 sector. According to the Councillor for Infrastructure, José Alberto Tomé, this reflects a healthy situation throughout the municipality.
The project has a budget of €2,199,544 and following the adoption of the appropriate administrative procedures under the Plan Parcial, the owners of the plots of land will be able to build. The execution time for the project is twelve months.
The total area of land is 50,520 square metres, with 15,156 square metres being available for building. There can be 116 homes built, 17 town houses and 99 detached.
The Council and the Directorate General for Heritage will both have plots available to them with the Council being able to construct 10 houses and Heritage being able to construct 18 houses. Both with make the lands available to Emprovima for the construction of subsidised housing for young people.
