Around 150 tons of rubbish has already accumulated on the streets of Granada due to an indefinite strike by workers of the municipal cleaning company, Inagra.
The strike began yesterday and last night, pickets prevented over one hundred workers from carrying out the ‘minimum service’ agreement. Those that did manage to go out found that rubbish bins had been moved or burned and stones were hurled at their lorries.
The police have already identified two workers responsible for such events and have asked the cleaning company to take the necessary disciplinary action against the men.
