Sunday April 25th is Dia de la Morcilla (Day of the Blood Sausage) in Canillas de Aceituno and forms part of the celebration of the Fiesta de Nuestra Señora de la Cabeza, patron saint of the town.
The fiesta starts at 10:00 with a musical presentation and a Mass in honour of the Virgen de la Cabeza. During the festivities, around 300 kilos of sausage and 800 litres of local wine will be available for consumption.
