A 1-1 draw at Torremolinos keeps CD Nerja in tenth place in the Primera Andauluza Grupo 3. Leaders Alhaurin de la Torre had an easy 4-0 win over San Pedro and second placed Martos CD were 4-1 winners against Bailén.
La Liga leaders Barcelona entertained bottom club Xerez and emerged victorious, winning 3-1.
Jeffren opened the scoring midway through the first half and Henry added the second not long after. Mario Bermejo pulled one back for Xerez and it was 2-1 at the break.
Xerez had a couple of chances to equalise at the start of the second half but failed to capitalise. Ibrahimovic got his name on the scoresheet, getting on the end of Touré Yaya’s cross and the Barca fans, and manager Guardiola, could relax a little bit.
Xerez ended the match with only nine players after both Alustiza and Orellana were given their marching orders.
Real Madrid kept up the pressure on Barcelona with a 1-2 win at Zaragoza. Raúl opened the scoring at the beginning of the second half but this was cancelled out by a strike from Colunga, despite Zaragoza being down to ten men after Contini was sent packing for elbowing Higuaín.
Kaká was brought on as a substitute, his first match after a long lay-off with injury, and within seven minutes he scored what turned out to be the winner.
