Applications can now be submitted for the position of ‘beach monitor’ for the summer season, the deadline being May 5th.
The Council will be hiring up to 69 beach monitors who will work half days from June until September. Applicants must have graduated from school, be able to swim 100 metres in under two minutes forty-five seconds and climb up a lifeguard tower.
The tests will be conducted once all the applications are in.
