A project has been approved to replace and improve the street lighting in calles Zuloaga, Picasso, Sorolla and area to make it not only better but also more energy efficient.
The project is set to cost €60,000 and is being financed by the Málaga Provincial Council under the Plan for Energy Optimisation.
The completion period has been set at one month.
The current mercury lamps, which give off a white light, will be replaced by sodium vapour lamps which will give off an orange light.
