Mossos d’Esquadra officers in Barcelona have arrested a man in his forties as the alleged perpetrator of the death of his wife.
The woman died on Thursday morning at their apartment in calle Sant Damía in the Ca n’Anglada district of Terrassa, Barcelona, having suffered a number of stab wounds.
The victim, a Moroccan national in her thirties and mother of young children, was attacked with a knife by her husband this morning during a heated argument. Neighbours heard shouting and arguing and called the police.
There was no prior record of complaints for violence or abuse within the family.
