Two local businesses have apparently questioned the specifications for the tendering of works to furnish the Nerja Museum and have written to the president of the Nerja Caves Foundation, Hilario López Luna, warning her of their concerns.
Among the shortcomings highlighted by the local businesses are the fact that there is no reference to the classification of the bidding company, a prerequisite when dealing with contracts above €350,000. and also that the tendering period is shorter than that permitted under the Law of Contracts.
The Council seems to believe that these latest problems are also down to the current manager of the Nerja Caves Foundation, Ángel Ramírez.
The knives appear to be out now.
