According to the Ministry of Employment and Immigration, unemployment in Spain fell by 76,223 people in May, the second consecutive monthly decline.
Total unemployment now stands at 4,066,202 and the May decrease was the biggest drop since May 2005. Before that, you would have to go back to 1998 to find a similar monthly decline.
In Andalucia, the decline in unemployment was 10,849 people (1.23%) and the total unemployment now stands at 868,458.
