The Environmental Health Unit of the Local Police has so far this year removed over 100 animals from the streets. Unfortunately, it seems, not the ones who leave their excrement all over the place. but you can’t win them all.
To help them with this task, the police now have a specially adapted van. The Environmental Health Unit are also responsible for the removal of abandoned vehicles, control of markets and signalling of special events and parades.
