The low-cost airline Ryanair begins operating from Málaga airport today, Tuesday, with 19 routes and 360 flights a week.
This is Ryanair’s fifth base of operation in Spain and, although the smallest of the five, involves an investment of €250 million and will create 200 direct jobs and sustain around 2,000 jobs in the area.
The new routes are to: Aarhus (Denmark), Berlin (Germany), Bratislava (Slovakia), Eindhoven (Netherlands), Gothenburg (Sweden), Krakow (Poland ), Maastricht (Netherlands), Memmingen (Germany), Oslo (Norway), Paris (France), Pisa (Italy), Stockholm (Sweden), Tampere (Finland) Venice-Treviso (Italy), Wroclaw (Poland) plus internal flights to Santander, Santiago de Compostela, Valladolid and Zaragoza.
