Jorge Lorenzo extended his World Championship lead as he won his third consecutive race from pole position at the Catalunya MotoGP in Barcelona.
Dani Pedrosa finished in second place, just ahead of Casey Stoner, both riders doing well to recover from early errors which saw them lose ground and fall back down the field.
Lorenzo now leads compatriot Pedrosa by 52 points in the standings.
