Of the air traffic controllers consulted by the Union of Air Traffic Controllers, 98% have voted in favour of strike action later this month. Any strike action must be notified ten days in advance, meaning that the strike would probably take place around the 18th or 20th of August. That would help the tourist industry in a recession.
