Spain’s Jorge Lorenzo clocked up his seventh race victory of the season at the Czech Grand Prix to extend his overall championship lead to 77 points.
The Spaniard overtook pole-sitter and compatriot Dani Pedrosa on the first lap and that’s where he stayed until the end. Pedrosa finished 5.494 seconds behind Lorenzo with Casey Stoner in third. World champion Valentino Rossi, who has just signed a two-year deal with Ducati, finished in fifth.
