A sudden downpour last night in Antequera put a bit of a dampener on things at the feria, soaking the thousands who were attending the opening parades.
The storm began at 23:15 and twenty litres of water per square metre fell in the space of fifteen minutes, turning the area into a mud bath.
Elsewhere in the town, traffic was disrupted in calles Alameda, Cruz Blanca, Calzada, Diego Ponce and Avenida de la Estación as flooding made driving very difficult.
Containers were swept away and the drainage and sewage systems became clogged for a while but by 01:00 things were returning to normal.
No-one was injured in the storm.
