The reservoirs in Andalucia are apparently in a healthy state, particularly for the time of year, standing at an overall 78.5% of capacity. This is 42% more than at the same time last year.
Reservoirs in Jaén province are maintaining a level of 85% of their capacity. Normally, the August figure would be around 40%.
The Beas de Segura reservoir, one of the largest in the province, is at unprecedented levels. Its capacity is 498 cubic hectometres and it currently remains at 421 cubic hectometres.
