A woman from Madrid on a walk along the Rio Chillar had to be rescued after she damaged her ankle and was unable to continue.
The woman was on a walking trip with five other people when she found herself unable to continue. Rescue teams located her in the Camino de la Acequia and moved her to the Fuente del Esparto before the Guardia Civil arrived on the scene and transferred her to the Hospital Comarcal in Vélez- Málaga.
