A minor was injured following an accident involving a shotgun at a house in Ronda with a second youth requiring treatment for shock.
The two minors were apparently handling the shotgun when it went off (who would leave a loaded shotgun lying around?), the youngest suffering injuries to the shoulder and neck.
The incident occurred just as the local Feria y Fiestas de Pedro Romero was starting and, as a result, there were lots of people in the vicinity when the accident occurred and action was swift.
The injured boy is currently in the Hospital Regional Universitario Carlos Haya in Málaga after initial treatment at the Hospital Comarcal de la Serranía. His injuries are said to be mainly superficial and not life-threatening.
