The Archdiocese of Valencia has withdrawn all pastoral ministries, including the ability to officiate at Mass, of a 39-year-old priest who has been arrested as the alleged perpetrator of sexual abuse against at least two minors.
The priest was arrested in the town of Ribera Alta following complaints of sexual abuse filed by the families of minors in the parish.
The priest admitted to the offences and after a court appearance was released on bail due to the fact that no actual intercourse took place with the minors.
