The Councillor for Infrastructure, José Alberto Tomé, has been meeting with Javier Arenas, responsible for roads at the Ministry of Development, to discuss possible solutions to the problem of rain and storm water from the highway.
In the Fuente del Baden area, the water currently goes into permeable areas, but this could all change once building begins in this area, as has been proposed.
A number of projects are planned in the east of Nerja and the Councillor wants to see coordination between the Council and the Ministry of Development in order to find solutions to actual or anticipated problems involving the highway.
