Local Police in Granada have denounced six youths aged between 20 years and 25 years for vandalising a total of fifteen cars, damaging street furniture and trying to smash shop windows.
The incident occurred at around 06:00 on Friday morning between calle Trajano and calle Obispo Hurtado. The youths were seen hitting various windows and had also been pulling off car wing mirrors and kicking the doors of the vehicles as well as carrying out a great number of acts of vandalism to street furniture in the area.
Two of the youths were apprehended in Carril del Picón and the rest were rounded up after their descriptions were circulated to other police units.
Due to this being a misconduct incident, the youths were not arrested but have been made known to those affected by the damage, including the Council, so that they can claim payment for the damage caused.
