Seven people have been arrested and 73 kilos of marijuana have been seized following raids on plantations in five different towns in Córdoba province.
In Hornachuelos, two people were arrested after several local residents complained about the presence of marijuana plants in the paraje La Almarja and on the roof of one of the houses in the village.
In Palma del Rio, four plants were discovered on the roof of an abandoned house.
In Fuente Palmera, 33 plants weighing around 34.5 kilos were seized from an irrigated greenhouse.
In Santaella, various plants weighing 17 kilos were found growing inside a house along with 2 kilos of the drug already processed.
More plants were found on the patios of two homes in the Barriada de los Mochos in Almodóvar del Río, the combined weight being around 2.8 kilos.
