Calle Antonio Millón is next on the hit list after the Council approved plans to renovate the area, the idea being to turn it into more of a square than a street.
The €267,000 project has a completion period of four (Spanish) months and will include replacing all the drains, piping and lighting etc.
The area will become a place for recreation and totally different according to the Councillor for Infrastructure, José Alberto Tomé, more like a square but not the same as Plaza Tutti Frutti.
This first phase of works will cover the stretch between avenida Castilla Perez and calle Fray Junipero Serra.
The Councillor has held talks with some of the businesses and residents in the street and plans to hold more meetings to explain more about some aspects of the project.
