A Guardia Civil officer from the Drugs and Organised Crime Unit ((EDOA)) in Málaga has been arrested during an investigation into drugs trafficking.
The arrest was carried out by officers from the Internal Affairs Unit from Madrid who moved to Málaga as part of the investigation, which is still on going.
The officer was arrested on playa de Guadalmar in Málaga city after being found in a van containing drugs. He was swiftly brought before a judge who ordered his detention in custody.
