Around five hundred cyclists took to the streets of Huelva yesterday in memory of two companions killed one month ago near Los Palacios by a car driver who claimed he fell asleep at the wheel.
The event was organised by the City Council and the cycling club ‘El Molino’, to which the two victims, José Luis Márquez and Gerardo Rojas, belonged.
The cyclists spent an hour riding through the city, demanding respect for all road users, before gathering in Plaza de las Monjas to pay homage to the two victims.
