Around 100,000 women in Spain receive some sort of monitoring as a result of gender violence and there are 33 deemed ‘at risk’ and receive care morning, noon and night.
The database of the Comprehensive Monitoring System contains details on 178,000 women who are, or have been, involved in cases or reports of gender violence.
There have been 58 deaths so far this year in Spain as a result of gender violence, surpassing the total figure for 2009.
