A car driver was slightly injured after he jumped a red light at the Molino de Velasco roundabout in Vélez-Málaga and hit a tram, the latest in a long line of accidents involving the Tranvia trams.
The tram was nearing the end of its journey and only three people were on board at the time of the accident. none of them suffering any injury.
The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. The tram did not suffer any damage apart from the loss of a bit of paint and was able to resume service as soon as the car had been removed from its path.
