A forest fire that started at dawn on Saturday in a wooded area near Los Guájares, Granada province, and affected 200 hectares of land is thought to have been started intentionally.
The fire took twelve hours to extinguish and involved 90 firefighters, 6 fire engines and 6 aircraft.
The GR-3204 between Lecrín and La Bernardilla also had to be closed for a few hours. The Guardia Civil have been inspecting the area where the fire started and all indications are that the fire was started deliberately.
