The Department of Infrastructure in Vélez-Málaga is embarking on a project to replace many of the old mailboxes in the various population centres within the municipality with new units containing on average about 30 post boxes.
The project is costing €50,000 and will see around 350 of the old style mailboxes removed from the streets. In their place will be 13 units with built-in post boxes.
