A 23 year old man, initials J.G.A., was arrested in Sevilla on Sunday after he ran over and killed a 20 year old woman in calle García Morato whilst in a drunken state and then fled the scene.
The incident occurred at around 05:30 outside a nightclub in calle García Morato. When the police arrived on the scene, they found the girl, a 20 year old native of Olivares, already dead. Paramedics could do nothing to revive the victim.
The driver of the vehicle, along with his passenger, had fled the scene but were later located. The driver was breathalysed and after testing positive, he was arrested. He has a prior record for attacking a police officer.
