The town of Aracena in Huelva is today, Saturday, holding its IX Mercado del Queso Artesano (Traditional Cheese Market), with 15 dairy farms from all over Spain participating.
Visitors will be able to taste a range of cheeses from Andalucía, Extremadura, Castilla León, Cantabria, País Vasco and Galicia.
The event normally takes place near the entrance to the caves (grutas de las Maravillas) but renovation works have led to a change of venue. It is now being held at the Museo del Jamón.
A new covered pavillion is being built in the town and when finished it will become the regular venue future editions of this local festival.
