Around 400 athletes, most of them school children, took part in the XIX Carrera Escolar “Memorial José Aguilera” and the VII Carrera Local Absoluta, both races taking place in the Parque Verano Azul on Saturday.
The Carrera Absoluta was won by Dani Moreno in the male category and by Susana García in the female category.
The school races attracted the most attention with the competitors coming from all groups from kindergarten to 4th ESO and there were prizes and trophies for the various (20) categories.
