The Council statisticians have been working overtime to bring us the news that 834 people visited the Tourist Office during the ‘puente’ with 559 of them being Spanish and with the busiest day being Monday December 6th with 216 visitors.
The figures are lower than those for last year, possibly as a result of the strike by air traffic controllers. The Council is waiting for information from the Hotels in Nerja relating to cancellations.
Meanwhile, in November, 3,636 people visited the Tourist Office. Of these, only 906 were Spanish and the busiest day was November 2nd with 214 visitors.
The average shoe size of non-Spanish visitors was 42. Only kidding, that info is not available, yet.
