A little water wasn’t enough to put off nearly 400 athletes competing in the Milla de Navidad on Saturday, competitors coming from Málaga, Granada, Cádiz, Jaén and Ceuta to take part.
Athletes from the Cueva de Nerja-UMA club took the first three places in the men’s race, with Álvaro Fernández leading the way in 4’29”, Nagibe Hliouat second in 4’36” and Eulogio Sánchez third in a time of 4’40”.
Paula Ramírez was the winner of the women’s race in a time of 5’23” with Claudia Estévez from Motril a close second and Saliha Kadoun in third place.
