Four people, including two children, had to be evacuated from their fourth-floor apartment in calle Jiménez Amigo in Córdoba after a fire broke out on Friday night.
The fire started at 10:40 in the living room of the house, damaging the furniture and filling the rest of the apartment with thick smoke.
The four people were taken to the Hospital Reina Sofía where they were treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire did not necessitate the evacuation of other apartments in the block but it did render the affected home temporarily uninhabitable.
