A lot of people milling around on Boxing Day, some cafe terraces virtually full. Some down at Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos were doing particularly well.
Mirasol were virtually full mid-afternoon, Bamboo had a good crowd and the terrace at Maria Bonita was doing a good trade.
Further down, the new Las Niñas tapas bar – formerly Buenos Aires Steakhouse – was ticking along nicely. Nice tapas, free with drinks, and coffee only one euro. And biccies with the coffee.
Sevillanos on calle Chaparil was doing a roaring trade all afternoon, as was Los Pescaitos. Obviously a good day for a tapas run!
A few people wandering along Torrecilla beach, although none daring to go in the sea. A remarkable number wandering around in shorts and t-shirts, though, even early morning when it is exceedingly ‘chilly’ to say the least. Bit like a Smurf’s convention.
