The body of a 45 year old woman was found on Saturday morning in a ditch on the road between Villanueva de las Cruces and Montes de San Benito in Huelva province, all signs leading to the conclusion that she was attacked by dogs.
The body was discovered at 07:20 and it was initially thaought that she could have been involved in a road traffic accident.
However, a visual inspection of the body showed a number of dog bite wounds, these wounds having been made before her death.
A subsequent inquiry has led the authorities to believe that the woman arrived at her property in her car and, after she got out, her two rottweilers launched an attack for some, as yet unknown, reason.
