According to a survey by the Andalucian School of Economics, 81.5% of the population and 95.1% of employers believe that the economic situation is ‘bad’ or ‘very bad’.
In addition, 40.2% of the population and 33.8% of employers believe that the situation will not improve until at least 2013, and 55% of the population and 45.7% of employers still think that the crisis has yet to bottom out.
On the question of pensions, 82% of the population and 84% of employers see little or no benefit in raising the pensionable age.
The survey canvassed 814 residents over the age of 16 years and the heads of 808 businesses in the region.
