Guardia Civil officers have arrested the two pilots of an Argentinian medical transport plane at El Prat airport in Barcelona after 900 kilos of cocaine was found on board.
The plane was operated by Medical Jet and had arrived from Cape Verde in Africa where, it is presumed, the drugs were loaded.
Media in Argentina has named the two pilots as Gustavo Juliá, son of former Argentine Air Force Chief José Juliá, and Gastón Miret.
