They are on the prowl again, the bogus gas inspectors, so don’t get caught out as it will prove costly.

Meanwhile, the Council appears to be drooling over the new PGOU, although it has only had initial approval.
There is now a period for residents of Nerja to make their observations, objections etc, before it is properly approved.
One of the items highlighted in the drooling stakes is the conversion of the El Playazo area into buildable land with plans for houses and hotels to turn it into a ‘dynamic tourist hub’.
The Council will, of course, derive much benefit from construction in the area, the various building licences and fees being a primary source of municipal revenue. Unfortunately, without such projects, it would presumably mean increasing various local taxes to safeguard the municipal payroll.
