The Calahonda confectionary shop in calle Puerta del Mar is open again after under going an extensive re-renovation. Probably needed to enlarge the premises to cater for all the hungry scratch-card purveyors currently roaming the Balcon de Europa.
The ‘For Rent’ sign has gone from the Speakeasy bar in calle Málaga, maybe something is going to happen there before too long.
Still in calle Málaga, the cheap internet /video games place is closed, newspaper covering the windows, the signs removed and the outside has been painted. Presumably a change of business rather than a renovation. It has been an internet/video games place for years and years.
Down on avenida Castilla Perez, at the bottom, the Delfin mini market has gone, as has the souvenir/beach equipment shop, right next door, Solymar. The latter was there for many years.
And these two are always watching the world go by.
