To celebrate International Women’s Day, there is a photographic competition, open to all nationalities, entitled ‘Building Equality for All’ (Construyendo la igualdad entre todos).
The theme for the photographs is ‘with your participation, a future of equality in Nerja’ and should show a society with balanced participation of people in all areas, regardless of gender, and eliminating the traditional view of men and women.
Anyone over 16 years of age and residing in Andalucia, regardless of nationality, is eligible to enter and the winner will receive €300, second place €200 and third place €100.
Rules: No collages or montages and manipulation of photographs is limited to the basic settings such as saturation levels, angle or rotation.
The photographs should be provided on normal photographic paper with a minimum size of 20×30 cm and 40×50 cm maximum.
Each contestant may submit up to 5 pictures. The photos should have a title and be placed in a sealed envelope with the following information: name of the author, address, telephone number and email.
The deadline for submissions is March 31st and these can be delivered by certified mail, by courier or in person to the Municipal Centre of Information for Women in calle Carmen, Nerja.
