The Mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo (PP), has held the first meeting with the Employers Assoiciation (AEN) since the election of its new president, the Councillor for Commerce Jonathan Méndez (PP).
The meeting was held at the Town Hall and amongst the items discussed were a request for economic cooperation in various business incentive schemes, the PGOU (General Plan) and a proposal to set up a working group for the submission of proposals and a request for the cession of land for a headquarters and a conference centre for the AEN.
The Mayor is said to be studying this latter request. The Mayor also talked about the recent developments relating to the sewage plant and the marina.
